Interestingly, I only vaguely remember creating this piece. And, as a long-time casual student of psychology, I can't hep but wonder why, especially after so many years.

Is it because the experience expressed in the image was still too fresh to be fully comprehended?

Was this drawing purely an escape from boredom?

Or, does this drawing represent a traumatic experience that has been unconsciously blocked from memory?

I truly don't know.

And, whatever story you decide to tell yourself about this drawing, it will forever remain one of the few Untitled pieces in my vast body of work; not because it lacks a voice, which is actually palpable; but because that voice is still undecipherable to me; whether a wound that has now been healed, or

is no longer relevant to my story).
